Buckhurst Hill is a suburban town in the Epping Forest district of Essex with a population of 10,738. The settlement is contiguous with Greater London bordered to the south by the London Borough of Redbridge and to the north-west by the London Borough of Waltham Forest and forms part of the Greater London Urban Area. It is 10.7 miles north-east of Charing Cross.
